Fleet Care can provide this service as well as overnight maintenance work to keep your fleets in service thus improving your up-time, lowering your cost of capital, and improving your safety record without the in-house costs or supplementing your in house team. Fleet Care has a track record of over 50 yrs helping Chicagoland based truck fleets with this concept. Fleet Care also has a full service facility occupying 12,000 sq feet that can accommodate repair on 10 full size tractors indoors, over an acre outdoor storage lot, a 1200 sq feet office, and a 500 sq ft  parts dept fully insured.

About Us

Larry Plofsky (second generation and current owner) began in the mid 70’s to work and assist in the repair and towing business in Berwyn, IL. alongside Sid Plofsky who started the business back in 1956.

Back then it was a franchised Standard Oil gas station with 5 bays and a small ½ ton Ford tow truck.

By the early 90’s Sid had retired and Larry took over the operation growing it into a 24 hr. heavy duty truck repair, towing and wrecker service.In 2012, Fleet Care relocated to Oak Forest, Il. to an upgraded 12,000 sq. ft. repair center with a storage lot.
